WHEN YOU'RE OLDER
WHEN YOU'RE OLDER
There's a strange thing that happens once you've lived long enough to feel time pass: you start noticing what you can no longer get back. These two letters are for the part of your life when the math of years left has begun to shift — when youth is no longer something you take for granted, and birthdays start arriving with a different weight. I'm not old yet. I have no business writing about this with any authority. But I am old enough to have noticed the shift starting in myself, and I wanted to capture what that early noticing felt like before it got drowned out by busyness. Read these on the birthdays that hit harder than expected.
