CLOSING
LATE LETTERS
These last letters are quieter. They were written more recently, with less to prove and more to simply notice — about peace, about the strange way the hard chapters turn warm in memory, about how the older I get, the less certain I become. If the rest of the book has been a father trying to teach you something, this part is just a father thinking out loud, on a slow morning, grateful. I hope by the end it feels less like advice and more like company — and that when the last page comes, kids, you'll feel me close the loop on the one thread that has held all of these letters together.
